From Excel, the grid which enables you to browse a fasd or a metadata is the Excel grid.
The import of your metadata or fasd in Excel is done from an external window (eclipse rcp) but once the import finished, you just manipulate a metadata or a fasd from Excel.
The FreeAnalysis4Excel Tools that are put into Excel enable you to import, to browse and to stop FreeAnalysis4Excel.

Here, you can see the result of a drill on a fasd.
If you want to drill an other time, you just have to select the item by clicking in your Excel grid, and click on the FreeAnalysis4Excel tool "Drill" .

This is the main window if you want to browse a
metadata.
You choose the measures/dimensions that you want to put on your columns/rows with the part which is at the top of the window.
You can directly browse your metadata by double-click on the main grid.
Like on a fasd, the bottom part enables you to create reports.

You can also create a query by choosing the
item you want to explore.
The right tree enables you to add columns/rows to your query.
You can also see the text of your query and then create a report.
